Our Story

Coming from Alexandria, the heart of Egypt, and from owning a well known restaurant known as Samakmak, Nashaat and Nagwa have always wanted to open a restaurant that would bring a piece of Egypt to New York. Little Egypt did just that. For over 30 years, we have been catering for weddings, engagements, sweet sixteens, birthdays and church events. Until one day, we took a great leap and opened Little Egypt. As a family we came together and made it happen. We make all our food from the heart and want to serve our customers nothing but the best, that's why we only use fresh ingredients. Little Egypt's menu highlights authentic Egyptian food, including traditional dishes and irresistible new tastes. Chef's Specialties

I walked in here asking for an Egyptian Dish called Moulakhaya although it wasn't on the Menu they made it for me. Everyday there are different specials that are not on the menu so make sure you ask and don't miss out!
